Freedomship Podcast 146

â€Å"If people cannot write well, they cannot think well, and if they cannot think well, others will do their thinking for them.† – George Orwell Freedomship. It’s the name we have given to our annual free shipping event that runs July 1‒10, but do you know how the term came to be? The story is a fascinating one that begins with a man, a book, and a discussion with a beloved daughter about a word. In Podcast 146 Andrew Pudewa and Julie Walker discuss the thoughts behind the word freedomship and how Andrew and his daughter first conceived the term. It’s a wonderful story that is filled with some noble ideas. Freedomship. It’s not in the dictionary yet, but hopefully someday it will be. Regardless, it’s a great term to learn. Enjoy the podcast! Oh, and it’s not too late to grab that free shipping, but you’d better hurry. The tenth is right around the corner!
